The Havana Bed Sheet Portraits emerged from a return to Cuba after twenty years, to a city transformed and no longer the Havana of memory. This project seeks to hold onto fragile fragments of an old world — not architecture, but energy, atmosphere, and the intangible presence that lingers as the city shifts. Bedsheets serve as backdrop and stage, turning the street into theatre where the everyday is elevated into performance. In this theatre of the street, Havana itself stands as protagonist, revealing beauty and the profound within change.
